Programs and Workshops
THERE ARE TWO PROGRAMS CURRENTLY OFFERED
Coaching To Create
A Healthy Organization
Many coaches are well trained to work with individuals and are missing opportunities to market their services to organizations. Imagine of how you could increase the impact and range of your work and build your practice with a deeper understanding of how organizations work and what makes them healthy. We have created this workshop to help you do just that.
Coaching To Create a Healthy Organization will give you a context in which to coach within companies, a broader view of moving people to their potential, a profound understanding of what makes an effective work team, a way to define a healthy organizational culture and ways to work with your clients to effectively move their organizations to balance and health.
The program will explore:
≈ an organic model of organizations,
≈ traits of an effective work team,
≈ an innovative view of the process of power in groups,
≈ coaching for collaborative influence,
≈ inspired conflict resolution
≈ guides to building consensus
≈ what people want from work
≈ helping create vision and mission
≈ a simple concept of feedback and performance reviews
This program will take coaches, leaders and mentors to a new level of clarity and effectiveness with their individual clients and give them a way to work with teams and larger groups to change organizational culture. It is open to private practice coaches as well as in-house coaches and mentors.
Coaching To Create a Healthy Organization is led by two veteran consultants who are well versed in work with individuals, work teams and organizations. They have a combined 50 years in experience with people and groups working together to create healthier cultures and dynamic work teams. The program format is made up of a four-day and three-day session a month apart.

AND
LIVING LEADERSHIP
Inspiring dynamic leadership and a culture of learning
LIVING leadership is a unique program that any organization can take advantage of to enhance leadership skills and attitudes and build stronger teams.
The program both strengthens individual skills in communications, conflict resolution and leadership and brings a group together through common experiences, role-playing and problem solving.
This program has been in existence for ten years and has proven itself to be very effective in building a healthy organizational culture and empowering individual managers and executives to realize their full potential as leaders.
Past participants (there have been more than 300 graduates) write:
“Every part of this program was very helpful to me. It’s changed me for the better big time.”
— Mel, retail manager
“I experienced a huge desire to help people grow, in a relaxed environment with a very welcome focus on authenticity and honesty.”

— Patricia, store manager, retail
“This was very valuable in helping me break down walls in my work team.”
— Kathy, supervisor, health care
“You allowed us the freedom to learn about ourselves. Thank you!”
— Ken, manager, retail

— Chris, administrative lead, local government

— Sue, clinic director, health care
The structure for Living Leadership is two training sessions of three and a half days each—a total of seven days—spaced approximately one month apart.
We cover a list of carefully chosen topics with the understanding that the participants in the program help us shape that list and can contribute ideas for content and structure once the program begins. Typically we cover the following:
- The true nature of personal power
- Self-responsibility and accountability in a team
- Fear, as it relates to power, authority and team building
- Ego and team
- Self-awareness
- No-fault conflict resolution
- Personality types and their influence on tasks and relationships
- Self-responsible language
- Inspired listening
- Giving and receiving feedback
- Varied leadership styles
- The importance of vision and mission alignment
This program is based in beliefs about student-centered learning. A great deal of responsibility is placed on individual participants to pursue what they want to learn, to fully participate and to learn though their own experiences and those of their colleagues. We strongly suggest sending work teams together.
Our work has continually reinforced a team and company culture characterized by quality relationships, collaboration, teamwork and consensus building, as well as honed the abilities of individual leaders.
